About Us

The Office of the Dean of Students is dedicated to being a resource to students through support, advocacy, involvement, and accountability. With a goal of nurturing the development of self-determination, we coordinate the Student Conduct Administration processes, serve as a support for students facing challenges to their success as students, and assist with the interpretation of University policy and regulations. Our staff are ready to assist students, staff, faculty, family members, and community members with student questions, issues and concerns.

Our office can also serve as a referral resource to other areas within the University and/or the Salt Lake Community.

As Lori McDonald transitions to her new role as the Vice President of Student Affairs, we are beginning the search for the next Associate Vice President and Dean of Students. We are seeking a passionate student advocate and innovative thinker in this critical leadership team role to help us fulfill our mission of creating a campus where all students find community, support, encouragement and purpose.
