Student Leadership

The Office of the Dean of Students suggests that students get involved in leadership and service opportunities while they are a student at the University of Utah. Involved students tend to be happier, better connected with resources, and have higher GPAs than non-involved students.

Several of the departments within the Office of the Dean of Students are wonderful opportunities for student leadership, from the Union to Fraternity & Sorority Life and student employment in Campus Recreation Services. The Office of Student Leadership & Involvement (SLI) can help connect you to student organizations and the various leadership opportunities across campus.   SLI hosts various programs such as the ULead workshop series and provides academic advising for the multidisciplinary minor in Leadership Studies.
