Student Leadership

The Office of the Dean of Students encourages students to participate in leadership and service opportunities while attending the University of Utah. Students who are involved tend to be happier, better connected with resources, and have higher GPAs than their non-involved peers.

Several departments within the Office of the Dean of Students offer wonderful opportunities for student leadership, from the Union to Fraternity & Sorority Life and student employment in Campus Recreation Services. The Office of Student Leadership & Involvement (SLI) can help connect you to student organizations and the various leadership opportunities across campus.   SLI hosts various programs, such as the ULead workshop series, and provides academic advising for the multidisciplinary minor in Leadership Studies.
